Welcome to the William Morgan Group

I studied business at Ilkley College and began my career with Mercedes-Benz in 1986, quickly advancing to Sales Manager and collaborating on the development of the Mercedes UK Approved Used Car Scheme. In 1995 I set up my own business, working alongside a successful retail entrepreneur focusing on customer service programs, including major retailers like ASDA, gaining valuable insights outside the motor industry.
In 1999, I joined Sytner BMW as Sales Manager, becoming Dealer Principal within two years and later Managing Director of BMW Sheffield. In 2009, I acquired my first BMW dealership in Northampton, expanding to include North Oxford Garage in 2012, representing BMW, MINI, and Motorrad. I also served as Chairman of BMW’s National Franchise Board from 2010 to 2013.
Losing my father in the 1979 Fastnet Yacht Race shaped my resilience. In 2019, I committed to competing in and completing the 2023 Fastnet Race in his memory. Married to Jacqueline for 30 years, with a daughter Isabelle, I enjoy reading, walking, skiing and family time.

Born and raised in Nottinghamshire, I pursued a degree in European Business (B.A. Hons) at Nottingham Trent University before completing my officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. My first career was as an infantry officer in the British Army, commissioned into The Green Howards, where I served for five years. Transitioning to the corporate world, I joined BMW (UK) in an Aftersales Support role and later progressed to become a Regional Manager. In 1993, I entered the BMW dealer network, initially as Head of Business and then as Divisional Director, before taking on leadership of the Wollaston business with the William Morgan Group, a role I held for 11 years. In the summer of 2024, I moved to head up North Oxford Garage.
I live in south Leicestershire with my wife, Rachel, and our Flat Coated Retriever, Harper. We have three grown-up children and enjoy spending time together at home or at our cottage in North Norfolk. In my leisure time, I enjoy water sports, skiing, and exploring the Yorkshire Dales, as well as relaxing with family and taking long walks with the dog.

I grew up in East London before moving to Northamptonshire, enjoying an active childhood with a love for sports. As a teenager, I took a weekend job at a caravan retailer, which helped me develop valuable communication skills that shaped my career.
I began working at a Building Society, combining my comfort with numbers with my passion for cars in the motor industry. Joining Wollaston in 2004, I’ve enjoyed working with a quality brand and team. Becoming Head of Business in August 2024 has been an honor, allowing me to lead a great team and deliver excellent customer service.
I live in North Northamptonshire with my wife Beverley, sons William and Edward, and our Manchester Terrier, Basil. In my free time, I enjoy golf, snooker, and time with family and friends.
